Adoption Form

By applying to adopt a rabbit I am acknowledging the following:

A rabbit is a 10-year commitment
I have a home with adults only.
I have a plan for my rabbit if I move
If I decide to surrender my rabbit I will contact Huntsville Friends of Rabbits
I will treat my rabbit with all the rights / privileges I would give to dogs and cats
A rabbit costs approximately $50-$60 per month in food, not including any necessary medicine
I will take my rabbit to a qualified veterinarian once a year for a check-up
I will hire a pet sitter if/when I travel and never leave my rabbit unattended during a vacation or trip
We only adopt to homes that will keep the rabbit indoors.
Rabbits listed who are not HFR fosters may not be spayed/neutered. I agree that I will spay/neuter any such bunny I adopt.
